Sash windows look elegant and render a classic look to any property. It is ideal for the period homes. Sash windows are liked by the people who have a taste for classic houses and properties. However, can these be installed in modern and contemporary houses and what are the pros and cons?

Pros

Elegant- Sash windows are incomparably elegant and look classy in a traditional way. The sash windows add value to any property whether it is modern or contemporary and increases the sale value of the building as well.

This is the reason that poor ventilation and buildup of humidity inside can become the problem in certain houses and do not make sash windows the first option to consider.
